Tory Lanez – Litty Again Freestyle [Review/Reaction]

Tory Lanez Litty Again Freestyle. Joyner Lucas ZeZe Freestyle.

“Litty Again (Freestyle)” is Tory Lanez’s response to Joyner Lucas’ “Litty Freestyle,” and serves as Lanez’s second track aimed at Lucas, following “Lucky You (Freestyle).” This is the third track of the rap battle issued over an Instagram challenge-post.

The track uses an instrumental version of Meek Mill and Tory Lanez’s “Litty,” and with this track, Tory follows the challenge rules given by Joyner, rapping over the same beat as he used on “Litty Freestyle”.

It’s Tory Lanez vs. Joyner Lucas.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Lanez boasted about his writing skills and boldly claimed that Joyner was not on his level of talent: “The Joyner kid? He’s nice, but he can’t f*ck with me,” the Love Me Now? artist declared. “Not on no level, period.”

Joyner caught wind of these comments and decided to challenge Lanez to a good ol’ fashion rap battle, in which both artists would release a freestyle over the same instrumentals.

“If your so confident my guy, let’s pick a beat. You spit your hardest bars over it and I’ll do the same,” Joyner wrote on Instagram. “We’ll let the people decide who ain’t f*cking with who […] If you’re not willing to step up and accept my proposal, then don’t ever say no silly sh*t like, ‘bar for bar Joyner Lucas ain’t *cking with me’ ever again in your life.”

Lanez accepted the challenge.

On Tuesday morning, the Toronto-born artist released a freestyle over the beat of Eminem’s “Lucky You”—the Kamikaze track on which Joyner was featured.

Joyner Lucas challenged Tory Lanez to a rap battle on Monday night, and the Canadian artist responded immediately. Lanez stepped up to the challenge with the “Lucky You Freestyle,” proving yet again that those who underestimate his rapping ability are dead wrong. Lucas has snapped back with a rapid response though. Entitled “Litty Freestyle,” the scorching response takes shots at both Lanez and Trippie Redd.

The entire battle came to fruition after Lanez claimed that he was better than Lucas, prompting the latter to sanction the contest. Lucas’ response arrived quickly, and he calls for him and Lanez to collaborate by the songs end. It feels like a cop-out, or a well-planned ruse to incite excitement. “Litty Freestyle” is a banger despite that one flaw at the conclusion. On the chorus, Lucas cleverly uses Lanez’s name to piece together a whirlwind flow. Check out the response below, and let us know who you think won the battle.
