19-year-old Conan Gray rose to fame on YouTube covering songs by Lorde, Frank Ocean, and Adele before making the jump into original music with his 2017 viral hit, “Idle Town.” The singer-songwriter recently released his EP, ‘Sunset Season,’ which includes the track “Crush Culture,” where he blasts the stress and messiness of teen dating life. Produced by Gray and his frequent collaborator Daniel Nigro, the song has picked up over 2.3 million Spotify streams since its release in late October.
