FAVORITE TRACKS: Freestyle Shit, Half Manne Half Cocaine, Crime Pays, Palmolive, Fake Names, Flat Tummy Tea, Situations, Giannis, Practice, Cataracts, Gat Damn

LEAST FAVORITE TRACKS: Education (I love the beat & bars but the mixing…)

STRENGTHS: Excellent, sample-based production from beginning to end; Freddie doesn’t let up with his flows, cadences, quotables & story-telling.

WEAKNESSES: The anti-vax bar on Palmolive & mixing on Education.

Do you like Mama India [Reloaded] (StoneBridge Mix)?

Woah this is amazing! Not bad

Mike S says:

Don't hate to much on the mixing bro; madlib produced these beats on his iPad. That's mad impressive in its own right, I thought the raw energy really came through bcuz of the production/mixing

Spencer Abstract says:

I hated the mixing on that fucking song man. And it hurts so much more that as soon as I saw Black Thought and Mos Def I thought it would be my favorite track

Adam Smith says:

Anyway this album is poor compared to pinata

Adam Smith says:

Don't talk about vaccines without at least reading up about Dr salk who was a genocidal maniac that started it.. Smfh

Eymon Miller says:

Great review luke

Zakiya says:

Lol haha loved the rambling at the end. This was a really great project, but i'm NEVER dissapointed by a Gangsta Gibbs project.

Some Guy says:

I think the mixing on education was intentional but I get what you mean

Hexonox says:

5/5 but vaccinate your kids people

Hexonox says:

cant help but lol at how Luke says "Haurd" dude must be from Canada

liveguy says:

"Education" was mixed like that on purpose. Mixing vocals that way has been done many times over. AND the beat is dope. My favorite track besides "Crime Pays"

Takes a Fish Eyed Fool to Know a Big Dummy says:

Instant Classic, on loop since Friday. Somebody explain to me how one can be mad about vaccine bars on a “GANGSTA RAP” album. Nothing else “triggered” anyone? You are like the 5th review with that…not hypocritical at all?

John Rodriguez says:

Ivan Cruz says:

You like dags ?

Lamont Williams says:

Great review bro…

Lamont Williams says:

Lamont Williams says:

Album of the year by far…

Christopher Aizen says:

The second half of "Half man Half Cocaine" is pure fire. It might be my favorite beat next to "Flat Tummy Tea". This album is a 9.5 for me. I liked Pinata but this to me is more accessible and more dreamy feeling.

Dillon Oxenreider says:

I think Gibbs is getting a little redundant for me. I still think he's good but his music lately comes with all these unnecessary fast raps, flexes, empty syllables. I liked Piñata much better when he just rapped more naturally, especially the trap stuff on here sounds forced. I still like it I just don't see it as aoty contender like everyone else.

Machzch Shturnerr says:

Big agree on the score 🙂

S Zia says:

freddie gibbs….just too damn consistent. ive listened to this album top to bottom everyday since its release

Amarna Mousa says:

the mixing on education adds to the appeal to me

Tevin G says:

Damn this is classic I love it I really can't say any else with this the best album of 2019!!

Johnnie Jackson says:

Quasimodo is that nigga

Johnnie Jackson says:

Everything Gibbs touches is dope

Daniel Hill says:

Album of the year so far. Easily
